Two thin slices of half melted cheese. Doesn’t really match what you think a “cheesery” should be. Very disappointed. Edited to add another star because the bread and bacon tasted good.
Paid nearly $60 for lunch. 3 grilled cheese (nothing special), 1 tomato soup which tastes identical to Campbells soup, a Mac and cheese (which was delicious) and 3 drinks. Definitely would not recommend this tourist trap to anyone.
Didn't get to check this place out as they'd changed their hours and closed early.
Grilled cheese y'all! Love the space...
Just don't bother, not worth the money.
Very good grilled cheese, but too expensive
This place is really good! I came here last year and I was amazed, I'm sill amazed. Please print this to halifax
The grilled cheese was delicious. The staff were lovely.
Pretty good, the brisket was better than expected. The price point is a little steep and besides the brisket there isn't anything above and beyond with many of the sandwiches
Reasonable food option in the Anne of Green Gables Heritage place. Isn't the most spectacular mac and cheese or smoked meat, but solid. Counter staff is very polite and nice, but food does seem to take longer than you'd expect to come out. Good outside tables.
Lobster sandwich is awesome!!! You should have it
Good sandwich in a pinch especially for those that love brisket. Once you've had the standard though in Schwartz then it pales in comparison in terms of quality, amount, and pricing. Yes this is smoked but flavour lacks depth even though it is smoked on real wood out to the side.
Nice unique grilled cheese sandwich and chips. Prices seemed ok. Every sandwich comes with a bag of kettle chips. All in all and good lunch place.
Its a grilled cheese.... and theres no cheese... and its too expensive
Awesome Place, friendly staff
I was ok, but nothing great imo. I wish there was a non white bread option or if there is one it wasn't offered.
Best grilled cheese i ever had three meals and drinks around 40$ hard to beat that for lunch and in a great setting love the feel of the the old town setting very cool eatery.
The restaurant has Gluten free options, but are limited in scope. They don't take enough precautions for people with Gluten intolerance and celiac. This can be mitigated if they were to place parchment paper on either sides of the grilled cheese sandwiches, before putting them on the grill press. I would also suggest offering certified Gluten free barbecue sauces for people who want to have the barbecue dinners, but can not because of Gluten in the sauces. I love the location though, and with a little work to ensure they can obtain more customers by offering more inclusive options such as; Gluten free barbecue sauces, parchment paper on either sides of the Gluten Free sandwiches before being put on the grill, and maybe a little more training for their servers about some of the various dietary restrictions/allergies. A little bit can go a long way.
Warm and friendly staff.Accepts pets.Food takes longer to prepare than expected.Brisket plate for $15 comes only with a fist full of over smoked and dry brisket, which is lacking in the flavour department. Nothing else. A side very small container of coleslaw (for an additional $2, was the actual star of the meal)
Not bad...just could be so much more. The smoked brisket grilled cheese was tasty but definitely could have used more cheese! Felt more like a basic sandwich...let’s face it, grilled cheese should be cheesy! The biggest disappointment was the brisket plate. It came with a slice of buttered bread & 3 small pickle slices. For the price (and for appeal) a bit of coleslaw or salad would make such a difference! Even spears of pickles would look great!
We had tried Dave’s Lobster and their sandwiches are much better than this “Moo Moo “ . We didn’t like this place much and is just so so as per our taste buds .
Service was pretty slow for counter style. I ordered a turkey club, it's was way too salty and 90% dark meat (50/50 at a minimum for the price paid would have been nice)...Few drink offerings..Overall not a good value.
Grilled cheese sandwiches were delicious, however we weren’t a fan of the Mac and cheese - 5 out of 5 did not like it...in general tomatoes on PEI are not very flavourful so avoid if possible. Beautiful scenic area to stop at after visiting Anne of Green Gables historic site. Cute pic Nic tables and shops.
So this is just a grilled cheese shop right? That's what I thought but I was interested enough in the concept that I stopped in with a few people to try it out... I was so wrong on the initial reaction it was so surprisingly delicious and I only got the regular sandwich. I'm not sure if it was the cows cheese and butter that did it but whatever it was worked and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience (and the sandwich) another in my party got the pulled pork grilled cheese and barely spoke because he was shoving it down so fast. I would take that as a thumbs up as well!
The turkey bacon club is probably the best sandwich I ever had.
REALLY good sandwich with amazing cheese. worth $ could use some type of diet soda
Grilled sandwiches were so nice. But BBQ is not so good. I recommend grilled sandwich, especially for lobster sandwich. No regrets!
Delicious grill cheese sandwiches, my favorite Beef smoke brisket.
This place was a"moo"zing. Best grilled cheese sandwiches anywhere. Makes us want to go back to PEI
The lobster grilled cheese, the brisket bowl and sandwich were amazing
Best grilled cheese in the world!
Food was delicious, especially the brisket sandwich. Friendly service, but somewhat slow due to the long line.
So many options! Best grill cheese ever
